The reverse side of the coin illustrates a western view and two kivas that make Chetro Ketl Ruins Complex.
Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska – The park was expanded from 2 million to 6 million acres in 1980, preserving the lands. The name of the park was changed from Mount McKinley National Park to Denali National Park and Preserve. Today, it borders the glorious Mount McKinley, the tallest in North America (at 20,320 feet). The reverse side of the coin displays a Dall sheep before the majestic Mount McKinley.
El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico – El Yunque National Forest, located in Puerto Rico, is the sole tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. Despite the forest’s relatively small 28,000-acre size, it is significant for its immense biodiversity and is popular with visitors for its year-round tropical climate. The reverse coin design depicts a Coqui tree frog sitting on a leaf and a Puerto Rican parrot behind an epiphyte plant with tropical flora in the background.

Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Oklahoma – This unique coin is designed in honor of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, named after the birth of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States. The reverse side of the coin features the Lincoln Bridge, constructed of limestone. This historical site is a favorite scenic location in Chickasaw.
Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania – It was the summer of 1863. The Battle of Gettysburg was a union victory by General Robert E. Lee and one that would end his most assertive invasion of the North. This victory was a true turning point of the Civil War. The reverse side of the coin displays the 72nd Pennsylvania Infantry Monument.
Glacier National Park in Montana – This famous park was named for its prominent glacier-formed terrain and the many remaining glaciers that descended from the Ice Age over 10,000 years ago. The reverse coin image shows a traditional view of the northeastern slope of towering Mount Reynolds.
